The designers behind the orld's skinniest skyscraper have just given fans of ultra-luxury living an early Christmas gift.

Ne York-based firm Studio Sofield has unveiled the interiors of Steinay Toer, the nely constructed 1,428-foot-tall toer overlooking Central Park. The announcement marks the pletion of the opulent midton Manhattan landmark, hich as built on a site once occupied by the historic Steinay & Sons piano pany.

Photos released this month by the designers sho opulent lobbies decked out in limestone, marble, blackened steel and velvet, floors paved in smoke-gray solid oak and original artorks by Picasso and Matisse.

According to Studio Sofield, Steinay Toer's interiors ere designed to evoke the grandeur of Ne York's Gilded Age, a period in the late 19th century hen the city's boulevards ere lined ith the stately mansions of robber barons like Andre Carnegie and Cornelius Vanderbilt. It sits on a Midton street, filled ith gleaming toers, that has bee knon as "Billionaire's Ro."

Studio Sofield's founder, William Sofield, told CNN he anted to make the toer feel unmistakably Ne York.
