Formed about 28(tenty-eight) hundred million year ago, Mt.Tai is famous for its imposing natural landscape.With an elevation of 1532.7(one thousand five hundred and thirty-to point seven)meters of its highest peak.Mount Tai enjoys a ordide reputation for being the “First Mountain on Earth”and“chief of the Five sacred Mountains”.Also called “Dongyue”,“Daiyue”“Daizong”or“Taiyue”the“Eastern sacred Mountain”,“Ancestor of Mountains”

泰山形成于2800亿年前，泰山以其壮丽的自然风光闻名于世。最高海拔1532.7米。泰山素有“世界第一山”“五岳之首”的美誉。又称“东岳”“岱岳”“岱宗”“泰岳”“东方神山”“众山之祖”。

泰山坐落于山东省泰安市北部，1987年，被联合国教科文组织列入世界自然和文化遗产名录。1992年，被评为中国40大旅游目的地。2006年，泰山古建筑群被国务院列为第六批全国重点文物保护单位。2007年，泰山被评为国家5A级景区。泰山深厚的文化历史和美丽的自然景色吸引了越来越多的国内外游客。

2.General situation of DaiTemple（岱庙概况110字）

女士们，先生们，现在我们来到的是岱庙，也称东岳庙、泰庙。它是泰山地区最大、最完整的古建筑群。岱庙初建于秦代，成为宫院建筑的范本。占地面积96000平方米。它南北长约405米，东西宽237米。是古代帝王来泰山封禅告祭时祭祀泰山神的地方。

3.thestone Inscription of the Qin Dynasty(泰山秦刻石102字)

Ladies andgentlemen,the stele in front of us is called“The Stone Inscription of theQin Dynasty”.It is the earliest stele in Mount Taiarea.The Chinese characters on the Stone ere inscribed in seal script by thePrime Minister LiSi of the Qin Dynasty.

Originally it stone on the top of Mount Tai and later as moveedinto the Dai Temple.No there are only the defaced Chinese characters survivingfrom the original edict by the second Emperor of the Qin Dynasty.It is regardedas one of the oldest stone insciptions discovered in China.

女士们，先生们，现在我们看到的就是秦刻石。这是泰山现存最早的碑刻。石头上的汉字是由秦朝的宰相李斯用篆书刻的。它最初立于泰山极顶，后移至岱庙。此碑目前只有残存的秦二世诏书中的10字可辨识。是中国现存最早的石刻之一。

4.Tiankuang Temple(岱庙天贶殿117字)

The Hall is the main structure of the Dai Temple.In the Hall isenshrined the God of the Mount Tai,About the shrine is hung the plaqueinscribed ith four Chinese characters“pei Tian Zuo Zhen”(配天作镇)ritten by the emperor KangXi of the Qing Dynasty.On the alls ofthe hall is painted a giant mural,With a height of 3(three)meters and a lengthof 62(sixty-to)meters,it depicts the scene of the God of the Mt.Tai having atour of inspection and ing back to his palace.

女士们，先生们，现在我们来到的是天贶殿。天贶殿建于北宋。是岱庙的主体建筑。大殿正中供奉的是泰山神。神龛上的四个大字“配天作镇”是清代康熙皇帝手书。大厅的墙上画着一幅巨大的壁画。大殿三面墙上有一幅巨大的壁画，壁画3米高，62米长，描述了泰山神出巡回宫的盛大场景。

5.SuteaRock Valley（经石峪80字）

女士们，先生们，现在我们来到的是经石峪。经石峪是一块巨大的石坪。印石坪上的石刻佛经《金刚经》得名。经刻书法文笔雄浑，富于变化。每个字符大小为五十厘米。被誉为“大字鼻祖”“榜书之宗”，不愧为中国文化的惊世之作。

6.Wudafupines（五大夫松99字）

女士们，先生们，现在我们来到的是五大夫松。据史料记载，秦始皇道泰山祭奠时，中途遇疾风暴雨，于是躲到大树下避雨。因念此树护驾有功，获封“五大夫”。“五大夫”为秦朝九级官爵。如今剩的两株，为清代补植。

7.TheEighteen Mountain Bends 十八盘

Consisting of about 1.600(one thousand andsix hundred)stone steps altogether. The Eighteen Mountain Bends is 400(fourhundred)meters high vertically seen from afar， it looks just like a scsty ladderhanging from the clouds. Leading to the South Gate to Heaven. This part is the mostrisky alking path to the top of Mount Tai.

8．The South Gate toHeaven 南天门

南天门建于元代，上层是摩天阁。大门外，西面有一块石碑，上面镌刻着一个关于《天门铭》。元代杜仁杰撰刻。

Inside the gate there is alarge hall named, “the Infinitely Green Hall”Indicating theverse “Seen from the top of Mount Tai,the landscape ofShandong is infinitely green”. Written by Dufu, a greatpoet of the Tang Dynasty,

南天门有个大殿名为“未了轩”。“岱宗夫如何，齐鲁青未了”。杜甫题写，唐代大诗人。

9.theAzure cloud Temple碧霞祠

女士们，先生们，现在我们来到的是碧霞祠。

It as built to memoratethe supreme Lord of the Azure cloud of Mount Tai, In the middle of the mainhall, the bronze statue of supreme Lord of the Azure cloud is orshiped.

Insidethe to side hall, Standing the statues of the children sending Goddess and theEyesight Goddess.

在正殿中间，是碧霞元君的祖庭。正殿正中供奉的是碧霞元君。两侧大厅内，供奉的是送子娘娘和眼光奶奶。

殿上的瓦数是360，象征着中国旧历全年的“周天之数”。

因为山顶上风雨交加。大殿采用的是金属和土木砖石相结合的材料，防止雷电袭击和云雾侵蚀。

10.GrandVie Peak 大观峰

It’sa natural exhibition site of the Chinese calligraphy， Rarely found in other parts, the most magnificentone is the Tang Dynasty Rock Inscription, It as named An Account of MountTai ritten by Li Longji, The Emperor of Tang Dynasty,It has an importantvalue to study the Chinese calligraphy, In the Tang Dynasty.

女士们，先生们，现在我们来到的是大观峰。可以说露天的书法艺术博物馆。在所有的石刻中，最壮观的是唐代的石刻。其中最引人注目的当属唐玄宗李隆基的《纪泰山铭》了。对于唐代书法的研究，《纪泰山铭》具有及重要的价值。

11.Firstof the Five Sacred Mounatins 五岳独尊及周边刻石

女士们，先生们，现在我们看到的是五岳独尊刻石。位于通往泰山之巅的小径东侧。中国五岳之一。最壮丽的，被称为“五岳独尊”。

12.Wordless Stele 无字碑

无字碑

Ladies and gentlemen,the stelein front of us is called “the ordless Memorial Tablet”，as there are no characters

inscribedon it.

女士们、先生们，现在我们来到的是无字碑，因为碑上无字而得名。

For hom and hy as thisfablet erected, There are varied ansers, The famous scholar Gu Yanu and GuoMoruo claimed that the Tablet as erected by the Emperor Wu of the estern HuanDyanty. As the Emperor Wu came up to Mount Tai and conducted the Fengshanceremony. The Tablet as erected to imply his achievements beyond ords.

这块碑为何而立，众说纷纭。答案多种多样。著名学者顾炎武和郭末若认为此碑的汉武帝而立。因汉武帝曾7次来泰山封禅。，为彰显他的丰功伟绩而立此碑。

There is also another sayinggoes: The Emperor Wu could not find any proper ords to describe the grandeurof Mount Tai. So he left the tablet ordless.

还有一种说法汉武帝找不到合适的词来形容泰山的雄伟，只好立下这块无字碑。

13.Jade Emperor Peak(玉皇顶)

女士们、先生们，现在我们来到的是玉皇顶，原名太平顶。

On its top there is a templenamed the Jade. Emperor Palace, the bronze statue of the Jade Emperor isenshrined in the middle of the hall. The board above the hall is inscribed ithfour Chinese characters “柴望遗风”。In the ancient time the emperors burnedthe oods to orship the God of Heaven here.

极顶之上有玉皇庙。皇宫，大殿正中供奉着玉皇大帝的铜铸雕像，大殿上方有一块匾额刻有四个字，上书“柴望遗风”。古代，皇帝在这里燃烧柴火，祭祀泰山神。

Inside the yard, the rockith, 1545（one thousand five hundred and forty-five）metersabove the sea level is the highest point of Mount Tai.To the est of the summitRock, there stands a stele of the Ancients, Ceremonial Terrace in memory of theancient Fengshan Ceremony.

院子里，有极顶石。海拔1545米是泰山的最高点。极顶石西侧，有块“古登封台”石碑。纪念古代帝王的封禅形式。
