众所周知，比利时是一个热爱自行车运动国家，而最新的国际自行车联盟UCI（Union Cycliste Internationale）排名也刚好佐证了这一说法。国际自行车联盟最近更新了其对全球表现最好的自行车运动员的排名。此时此刻，世界上排名前八位的个人自行车运动员中，有一半是比利时骑手！

It’s idely knon that Belgium is a cycling country and the latest UCI rankings are there to back up this claim. The international cycling union UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) recently updated its ranking of the top-performing cyclists orldide. At this moment, half of the top eight individual cyclists in the orld ride under the Belgian flag!

Since the last update of the ranking (on 15 May), Belgium is still leading in the national ranking for the category of men’s elite, ith France and Denmark folloing thousands of points behind.

In omen’s cycling, our country is in a strong fifth place, mostly thanks to Lotte Kopecky. You may recall her inning to gold medals at the European track championships in 2022.
